A Child's Voice was founded in 1997 by Bill Buczinsky. It was created to help people of all ages discover the power of poetry. A Child's Voice uses live poetry performances and quality multimedia products to deliver its message to kids, parents, and educators.
Bill Buczinsky
Bill is a children's poet and performer. He is the founder of A Child's Voice, a company dedicated to playing the game of poetry with kids and encouraging them to write poems of their own. Bill has performed for over half a million children since 1997. He enjoys playing his guitar, standing on his head, and sneaking up on animals in the woods. Corte Swearingen
Corte works behind the scenes as the Marketing Director to help make A Child's Voice more accessible to kids and parents. He is the creator of this website and helps promote all the fun poetry products to a wider audience. In his spare time, he enjoys following Bill into the woods and yelling loudly so that the animals run away.
Jeane Heckert
Jeane is the artist extraordinaire that has produced every piece of artwork you see on this website. She also produced all the art for the Kiss the Fish CD and the poetry journal Strange World.
