"Bill Buczinsky is a magical talent!"
-Debbie Chorpash, PTO Cultural Arts Chair
Poetry Performances
It's a large group gathering. It's an exuberant happening! Drums and drama! Daring and danger! It's not quite a freak show, but it might get stranger! Begin playing the game of poetry by acting out Bill’s poems in a show. Poetry Performances are for groups of all sizes and last 50 minutes.
Poetry Workshops
They may not all be poets, but every child has poetry. In a Poetry Workshop, Bill uses a variety of prompts: provocative quotes, mysterious photos and strange sounds - to get everybody playing with words. It may be a game, but poetry will build some serious academic muscle!
Poetry Day
A Poetry Day includes two performances and three workshops. It's one of the best ways to get your entire school excited about reading and writing. Add an Open Mike Night and get your families involved too!
Open Mike Night
Let the Beatniks rule and the bongos play while your students recite the night away. An Open Mike Night gives young writers a chance to share their poems with friends and family.
Poetry Residency
Unleash the poetic power of your entire school with A Child's Voice Poetry Residency. A week of performances and workshops will help every student dscover their unique voice.

Parent Workshop
Let Bill show you some poetic word games you can play with your child. It may be a game, but poetry will build some powerful literary muscle.

It's not easy raising poetic kids these days - children who are imaginative, reflective, well-read, whimsical, and yet always themselves. A Child's Voice comes alongside teachers and parents to help them inspire kids to live artfully.

Bill's poetry lights up a room and the children with it!"
