Poetry Playshops
Make a joyful noise. Create a crazy image. Sing and celebrate yourself in a
Poetry Playshop. Everyone will have fun writing poems of their
own. It may be a game, but poetry will build some serious artistic muscle. Playshops last 50 minutes and accommodate 10-60 people.

"Bill Buczinsky is a magical talent!" - Debbie Chorpash, PTO Cultural Arts Chair
Poetry Day
Invite Bill to your school for a day full of poetry, including two performances and three playshops.

"The more children who are exposed to Bill and his unique style, the happier our world will be." - Jim Ross, Worzalla Press
Poetry Residency
A Child's Voice Residency is designed to unleash your school's poetic power. Students are introduced to the poetry game in a pair of
performances (one for K-2 and one for 3-5). After the opening shows, we visit each class and show students how to play the game for themselves.
Young writers will learn how to play with images, metaphors, characters and an array of lyrical devices to create poems of their own.

"Bill deserves to be on television where he can become the muse to millions of children and their parents."
-Joanne Koch, author of Good Parents for Hard Times
Open Mic Night
Our Poetry Residency normally finishes with an
Open Mic Night, where students share their creations with friends and families. It's a chance for kids
to shine and parents to bask in their glow.

"The parents were so impressed with our Open Mic Night that the PTA is deciding what month would work best for you to return next year."
-Sally Schoenberg, Librarian & Media Specialist
Leadership Training Workshop
Poetry is not just for children! Parents, educators, and business leaders can benefit from the power and creativity poetry can harness. This
workshop is tailored to the individual group. Workshops for educators will focus on making words come to life in the classroom. Corporate
workshops focus on using the power of poetry to inspire employees and business leaders.
Leadership Training Workshops can run an hour or an
entire day.

"Bill has enchanted our school for years and we love having him!"
-Joshua Wager, 4th Grade Teacher
Keynote Speeches
Poetry is more than words on a page, it's not just a subject in school. Poetry is a power found whenever we let our imaginations touch real life.
Bill's speech,
The Poetry of Everything, will help everyone in your group discover their own poetic power.
